Oro Blanco is an indica dominant hybrid defined by its frosty trichome covered buds, and distinctive name translating to “White Gold”. The “gold” part of the name is in reference to how valuable this strain has been historically for it’s potency and unique terp profile.
The parent lineage is a cross between “The White” and “Wookie 15” strains. The White has mysterious origins making it difficult to pin a single birth place, while Wookie 15 has ambiguous roots back to Afghanistan.
This strain was grown in the Acapulco region of Mexico where it had become popularized as what it’s know as today; Oro Blanco.
